Make my suspension list!

Hey guys, give me a list on basically anything and everything I can do to make my L handle and perform better in the corners. Ive just installed Front/Rear sway bars. What should I get next?

What size bars did you throw on? Also, how much better do you want it to handle? I can make about a two page list of things you could do. :)

Honestly, for best bang for the buck Id say sway bars, fender braces, strut/spring combo, polyurethane bushings and most definitely tires.

Depending on how much money you want to spend, I would go with coilovers. My friend auto crosses and he said it was a night and day difference!

I have a 93 L. I just threw a set of Tien Flexes at it. They where $2,200 shipped. White Line also make a real good set but the are Expensive. I belive that Greedy also make a set. But you are paying more for the name then suspensiopn with them. Truthfully I love the Tiens I have. They are rock sold, easy to install (with the right tools, did it myself. Took about an hour and a half to take off old one and put on new ones). The only real problem is that the instructions are in Japaness. But it is pretty stright forward. Some other things that you can do are A-arms, sub frame brace, strut tower braces, laderal (sp?) links, trailing arms, caster adjusters, and some other things that I can not really think of at the moment. Oh yeah! Alginment also helps. About +1 degree camber int he front (you will go negative when load is placed on the front), -1 degree in the rear, a slight toe in, and some postive caster. Just keep in mind, the stiffer you make the car as a whole the better it will responed to the sterring inputs. Also start to think about wieght reduction in the futher.

Nice... Tein Flex's huh??? A bit pricey though... Hows the kidneys HAHAHA... Stiff huh??? I would of went with the Megans because of the more liveable spring rates and pretty much similar build quality... Also about a grand cheaper... Nice setup as it is though... A 93 so im guessing FWD??? Or did you convert it to AWD??? Just wondering man... Nice so far, what are the plans for it drivetrain wise???

Eric
