I was thinkin I wanted more power and I don't have enough for anythin like an intake header or exhaust at the moment I thought I'd mess around with my stock airbox to see if I can get anythin from it. I took out the section thats in the fender. Not only does it weigh a decent amount but it is much un needed tubing that just goes all around in the fender and takes up a lot of space too. I also shaved the edges of the tube that houses the air flow sensor. If you look at it, the diameter goes down a good half an inch through that section of the intake track. I just angled the edges off so the air isn't hitting a wall and it flows through it better. Now when I floor the car theres a little bit of a deeper engine sound from that section of the intake tubing gone and it seems like it's opened up a little (not a huge amount) in the top portion of the rpm range. There isn't huge power gains or a cool full cold air intake sound but there is some noticable difference in upper rpm pull slightly and sound from 3k or 3.5k on. I pretty much acheived my goal in getting some improvement for free.
