What products have you had a bad experience with? I want to know what to avoid more than what to try. What is awful? What just doesn't work?:realmad:

Ummm what do you drive? If you have a evo, you wanna avoid the K&N typhoon intake, buying blow off valves that dont offer recirculation kits, and if you need a new clutch avoid getting the stock one again because they are crap.

Just my opinion but used ebay parts are a no no on any sports car. If you have to get parts off of ebay then you probably cant afford the car you drive.

thats a pretty generalized statement. it really depends on what u are buying. ebay is a good thing. u can get cheap parts that works. more options is better. you can even get intercoolers that will perform just as good as those name brand ones for a fraction of the price. imo, if you are dumb and dont know what you are looking for, dont buy from ebay. my 0.2

ebay is not actually a bad site to order from. IF you buy from the right person.

For example: An ebay O2 housing for a evo is just as good as any o2 housing offered by others and are cheaper. Which I and many evo owners have done.

Fluffy Dice and neons! Steer clear! :shootout:

Scotty

P.s. As for EBay, there is actually some good stuff to be bought from there. As xtianJDMGC8 said, if you are dumb, don't buy from there. My best suggestion for buying from EBay is check with your local forum - or this one before making a purchase.

To better clear up my previous statement I said used Ebay parts. I didnt mean the parts that are new and never used. Hope this helps my previous post.

i bought a ebay special Rear strut tower bar for my WRX....and i had some MAJOR fitment Issues....the mounting holes were not aligned and the actual bar was too long had to ghetto rig...and only to find out that i could not tighten the hardware because of clearance issues in the design....so boo to ebay special products!

I would say stay away from neons as well. Haha, if you want to go fast then go fast just don't look like you are. Confused? I drive a Galant VR-4 and I have a few mods including an Dynomax Ultraflow exhaust. It's quite and delivers good power. So I'm sitting around at the light doing nothing and my VR-4 badge gets me in trouble again caus a car pulls up behind me and then shoots over to the lane next to me and revs. I looks over and it's a Focus. I rev back..my exhaust is quite but it's deep so it's kinda noticesable. We go and his' exhaust drowns out my music it's that loud I pull a car length ahead of him and noticed some heavy neonage. So I decided to slow down cause my Escort 8500 was going a bit crazy and sure enough there was a cop hiding in the bushes. The Focus rolls up to me and I rev again just a bit and he goes all out revving and then I noticed lights behind us, and he gets pulls over. And I go to Mcdonalds.
