Well oddly enough i saw a link to this forum from myspace ( bleh ) so I came by and liked what i saw.

I'm currently driving a 2006 WRX wagon which is the love of my life,

sadly, I won't be able to keep her as my insurance has gone up, So if anyone is interested in buying a gorgeous subie wagon here in socal, send me a message or something.

it'll break my heart but i'd rather the car go to an enthusiast who will care for it and give it the mods it deserves.

thanks for the welcome guys.

i listed in the FS board ( first subie for sale! haha.. good luck? )
I have to say, it has been such a pleasure being a part of the subie "brotherhood" i love how everytime i cross paths with another wrx or STI or even an RS i get a nod or a wave or a blip of the horn. I sure hope that whatever car i get has that same type of bond.

i'll get another wrx ( or sti ) someday when my insurance is lower :)

It is definitely a different world driving a Subaru than most other manufacturers. I have an '02 WRX and continue to get waves, nods, etc from other subie owners. :)

Welcome to the site! I know your selling it, but thats a very sick wagon, you should still submit it into the COTM contest at http://www.awdforums.com/showthread.php?t=201

You should get a part time job on the side to keep the car

i do work quite a bit actually 33-40+ hrs a week at the apple store.

i'll look into that contest though :) its just that when your insurance is over $400/month on one car... it's kinda scary :(

Ouch! Have you shopped around and gotten quotes from other insurance companies to see if you can possibly get lower?

that was the lower rate :(

you don't even want to know what it used to be.... you'll probably throw up.
($800+/month)

it just went up too, because i got a completely unjustified ticket in a construction zone ( i looked it up and have a code number and everything, the cop legally couldn't have given me a ticket... but thats another story ) it used to be in the $300 range.

its kind of frusterating, ya know? because im not a reckless driver, i'm not all crazy flying around lanes and putting people in danger. I got caught once going over 100mph when i was the only car on the freeway at 1am. the other 2 were lame at 81mph ( a year apart mind you )

so as far as my license is concerned i'm ok, i only have like 1 point on it. but my insurance is just no bueno right now.

it'll pass though, i'm paying for some foolish decisions i made as a kid.

edit: forgot to mention all my tickets ( except for the recent unjust one ) were in my old car, a 1.8T Passat lol

I know what you mean, the reason why I own a GSX and not an EVO is because of insurance/tickets when I was young

yeah, i'm a much mellower driver these days.

well you guys aren't gonna belive what i bought today lol.

I got myself a 2003 Focus SVT, in competition orange, meaning its the euro package.

i have to admit, i am very impressed with the car, its incredibly fun to drive, and the leather recaros are a dream to sit in.

have a look:
