well here's whats been happening with me the past few weeks.i sold the a4 for a very good amount and have been car searching.i was very close to owning an 06 red s2000 w/ 3k mi. on it for about 26k.the deal fell thru due to high intrest(12%).keeping that car still in mind,i still searched before i made my final choice,until i descovered something.my dad's very good friend(basicly an uncle) works at subaru as a leading sales consultant.so i talked to him,and i suggested an STI.well when i went in,he immediatly said they didnt have one in stock,but one was being shipped anytime to them and that there was a very long waiting list. well i got pushed in front of the line,got 2grand of the price for a fully loaded 07 blueSTI.im getting the car for 32k but im leasing her for 3.5yrs and then buying her out for 19k.so i put down a 1000 deposit,and 4500DP w/ 380 monthly payments.im so happy,now i just need to be patient till the car gets there so we can finalize everything!!!

the 07's longer 3rd and 4th gears are amazing....

drove my friends protuned stage 2 07 STi....wow....on a 95oct map its makin 315WHP and 375WTQ!

on the 91oct map its makn 290whp and 330wtq

my 05 wrx which is road tuned is makin 270whp and 260wtq.

i think youll be happy!

well thats some good news,lol.i plan on getting a protune and TB exhaust once i purchase the car,maybe lower it to.i just cant wait till i get the car...

really,i wasn't wondering about the FPRed setup.is he using meth at all.i might go w/ the 20g but no meth.many people say i have to run meth,but thats not the case b/c that extra .5l helps out a lot.so i plan to do a nice 20g setup very soon. nothing crazy like a 35r b/c i would still like to be able to spool.lol

what tune is he using?im stgII and im almost positive im no where near those numbers.im also on a 93oct map

Well congrats on the new STI purchase, they are wicked cars, im just more partial to refinement and the luxury aspect of the audi over the subaru, even knowing i know the secrets to smoking out STI's and EVO's.

i deff. know what s4'2 are capable of.put if it's not done right,im sorry it's deff. gonna be a tough one.and luxury,hands down audi takes it.but i deff. dont mine my swede interior.i thik thats how u spell it anyways,lol.but to ea. his own!!!
