anyone have any expierence with the AEM or Devils Own methanol kits?!? i am looking for a meth kit and i know both do not come with the methanol guage.aquamist is just way to expensive for me,lol

I have experience with devils own kits, I don't own one but I have installed a few of them. What do you want to know?

if there's a fail safe and what is runs by,im assuming it detects by the injector pulse but not positive.

By fail safe do you mean a safety feature in case you run out of fluid? I know the D.O. kit runs off of a map sensor signal, the kit actually come with a boost sensor.

For the aem kit (though I haven't gotten a chacne to get my hands on one), it seems to have better safety features. It has a feature that either pulls timing or cuts boost when the low fluid level sensor is activated. Other than the extra safety features they look to be pretty similar. I don't see how the unit can pull timing when the low fluid sensor is activated unless you are running a standalone. But the boost cut feature seems like it would work quite well. I'll see if I can get my hands on a manual for the aem unit, that would clear a lot up.
