Whats up guys, I'm sorry I've been away for a while. I'm a chef and I was put in charged with pretty much building a restaurant from the ground up including color of walls, what kinds of chairs to putting together a menu. Some of the things were a bit over the tops like mood lighting in the bathrooms when you have trouble going to 15" BOSE subwoofers in the ceilings but hey I'm consulted on an already successful restaurant so I think I've made some sexy choices. I've also picked up another Galant VR-4 and should be posting pics of that one up soon. Glad to see Scotty's back, my entire purpose on here was to make fun of his Aussie ways..lol jk man welcome back too.

Thanks guys. Yeah I'll be popping in a out. I'm a consultant for restaurants as well which is a great deal when you're only 27 and only been cooking professionally for 6 years. I'll be going down to Charlotte, NC tomorrow for another job. It's nice when everything is paid for you. But I will def keep checking in.

What the deuce? This place is dead again! Anywho a little update on my trip.

9amEST: I land at the Charlotte Airport and greeted by a slim and cute Japanese girl in a black dress suit. She bows and says that shes there to take me to the restaurant. How super mega dance dance fun happy party is that?

9:45amEST: I arrive at the site of the restaurant. It's just a shell and a black Mercedes meets us as we arrive. 3 doors open at the same time and some scary looking dudes get out. Finally some finely dress gentleman emerges and shakes my hand. He doens't speak a lick of english so the super sexy polite girl translates for me in sexy broken english.

10amEST: He lays out the blueprint and I take a look. He tell me what he wants and I give him my insight. We bicker back and forth and I try not to upset him as I am surrounded.

10:50amEST: I asks me if I have a blowfish license which I don't since I've only been cooking for 6 years. He tells me that he now has to find someone with one. I told him I know of some people. He laughs and we go have lunch.

11:35amEST. I have no idea where I am except I'm sitting on a tatami floor with the now dressed in a kimono super cute translator chick. I'm in an all black outfit. I feel pretty badass. The man emerges through the curtains with his entourage all dressed like samurais. I now know I'm in way over my head for this job.

12:20PMEST: The first course arrives, I have no idea what is it other then it was amazing. I wasn't going to ask since I didn't want to offend. I was suppose to be a good chef after all. Turns out it was monk fish liver as I was told later.

2somethingPMEST: I thanked my host for the great lunch. I told him I don't think i was the man for the job and I told him that I do know of someone who would be the perfect match for him. He nodded and finally smiled. Which caused everyone to smile including myself.

3:20PMEST: I was in the car on my way back to the airport. The super cute translator chick is now back in her black dress suit and asking me questions I don't remember answering as I was now drunk on sake.

4:30PMEST: We get back to the airport, she buys me a one way ticket back home and I will probably never see her again.

Just awhile ago tonight: She calls me and asked if I found the guy and I told her I haven't gotten a hold of him. She informs me that if I do happen to find the guy and he turns out to be the right man then I will receive a $2,000 finders fee for my trouble. I am now frantically trying to get a hold of the guy.

hahaha,well sounds like you had a crazy day my friend. you should have asked for her instead of the finders fee ;)

Crazy story. I'm going to try to hang around a little more often from now on!
