I haven't been back here for a while. Just got back in to the country from China where I was working at the olympics. Had an absolute ball there. Hoping to have the GTO up and running HARD in the next few weeks. :)

The Great Wall was uber impressive and scary as hell in places.

Man, I am sooooooo envious! China is close to the top of my list for places to go. Did you find it to be expensive?

Hell no! So cheap, in Beijing anyways. Cab rides were crazy cheap. The number sat on 10 for 20 minutes or so. I was like, "is that thing even working"? lol An hours cab ride cost us around $10 Aussie bucks and you split that between 4 people and it's eff all! :D We hired a car to get to the wall, it was an hour and a halfs drive, and it cost 20 to 30 dollars between 4 of us.

And was the food and cheap as good as it seems on TV?

Well, I mostly ate from the food hall in the media center as I was working at the olympics, but eating from the local restaurants, (of which I did maybe once or twice) it was very cheap.

All the olympic volunteers were, but they were told to be. lol Seriously tho, they were lovely people.
