im tired of windows and its NTFS file system, a few hours ago, it destroyed my 2 external HDD with ALL of my Music, Pictures, TV shows, Programs Subaru stuff etc... its corrupt, i belive the Master file table screwed itself in the butt dry, so im running this data recovery program right now to see if i can at least get most of my data back.

im soooo mad right now, and over Windows, this has happened over 3 times!! so im gonna be on my way to the Apple Store to pick up a MAC Book! ive always loved macs i just never understood my self why i never got one!!!! ha ha ha.. yeah, im switching over to mac. , i get a student discount so ill see what they can do. what i really want is my data back, and i was always planning to get a mac just not this soon.

i havent backed my data up in such a long time. though its a little much to buy another HDD to back up 500gigs of data, i still should have backed up!!! oh well thats my fault

I hear ya. Ive been fucked by windows over and over again in the past.. Ive just learned what I can and cant do on this thing now.. I would love a mac book too :)

That's shithouse man. I'm over my PC too! The place I work at uses a Mac and Iv'e always been hesitant (like most pc users) to jump ship and hit it. Also, having to learn Final Cut Pro HD was something I wasn't interested in. But a Mac will be my next purchase in the computer world. Awesome systems.

yeah, im gonna check out, the apple store right now, and see if i can afford a mac book with my student discount, i hope apples finacing program is pretty fair dosent rape you with the interest.

if i can at least get most of my data back, i can hold off for a month or so, but i really cant stand windows, my laptop is completely clean of virus, its has a firewall, i dont download music/movies, i dont look at porn (thats what the old computer is for he he he) its been running the same since i got it, but it just keeps destroying my files, and im tired of it!!! im also tired of its interface and how it isnt effiecnt is processing files.

well, a few headaches and days later, i have recovered 100% of my data! I have it all back! thanks to this nifty program called Easy Recovery Professional!!! it was only a software crash on the externals and not a physcial crash!!

as for buying a mac, i did the math and financially it would hurt me in the long run, i did a lot of thinking and about this, and im going to save up as my lappy is still running good, to about june and splurge for a Macbook PRO!!! yes i want one! ha ha

i just purchased a new gateway laptop w/2gigs of ramand w/ the new microsoft vista, so far so good, but since it's a new generation i've been curious if it'll crash or not. i've also always wanted a mac but unfortunatley the vag-com software used on my car for my ecu doesn't support mac. but this new micrsoft is pretty bad ass!!!,so far.lol

it is way way cleaner by a long shot, i love the new setup windows did,the toolbar is now black and you can actually chose a theme of your choice!!!

i played with Vista RC2, and i like the new interface, but i dont like what there doing with the whole DRM thing and just all the new security features that make it harder for pirating! ha ha err...

yea the security on that thing is crazy,i have probally 5 different types of security programs running on it that comes w/ it!!! but i guess its good for me b/c i payed 1500 for it and it wld be crappy if i got a virus already

no! not until service pack 2 gets released and even then its a very bad idea to shell out the money for a buggy OS.
