I ate something last night that gave it to me. My roomate also got sick, he only threw up 5 times. Me, I couldnt keep water in my system and ended up throwing up 16 times. I knew if I didnt keep water in me I would be SOL. But I couldnt hold it down. I finally found some gatorade powder mix and made 2 gallons of that and could keep that down longer than water did but would still make me blow chuncks. I hate being sick.

Damn, that sucks... good to keep attempting to hydrate yourself, even if it doesn't all stay down. Hope you're feeling better.

if it is accompanied by fever it could be salmonella.
in any case, you should be on a bland diet until the worse is over, vomitting & diarrhea.
A bland diet usually includes alot of starchy foods and little to no fatty food.
To get an idea, see following link:

Sorry to hear about what you guys are going through.

Thanks for the info, yea I had a fever as well as when I was on the cold tile floor in the bathroom throwing up I got the sudden chills and felt like I was in Alaska while having a fever at the same time. Ive been keeping to that bland diet already, I only eat a little bit every day. Basically one meal a day :ohwell:

Oh yea, im also on the Pepto Bismol diet. A bottle a day keeps the stomach pain away.

Sometimes it is better to let your body get rid of some of the toxins before taking an anti-diarrheal.
