Well, it's official! I'm a doofus! I went in to take some pics of my freshly rebuilt engine. As I was taking pics, the head fell from the bench onto the floor. I was wearing sandles at the time too!

Now, somehow, the head missed my feet. (there is a God) It also managed to somehow make NO impressions or marks to the surface areas or ports. It looks like it hit one of the bolts and part of a thread.

The rest are just pics of the head. As you can see, little damage.

Anyways, you can see the minor damage. My mechanic is pulling her apart to just make sure. It made the wierdest sound when it hit the cement. I'm just soooooo happy I can still walk. You have no idea how lucky I am, but I do. :)

As for the engine, I'm just waiting on a main bearing to arrive and she'll be goin back together..... unless the head is fubar, but she should be fine. *insert emo crossing fingers*

Well my brothers, the head has checked out fine. Just waiting on an oil pump to arrive from the US (this Friday) and she all goes back together. By this time next week, she should be out at the mani place where I will start the turbo process, followed closely by the mani's being built process. :D

Well, you've heard the saying, "it's better to lead than to follow"? Can't remember where I saw that ;) but it's not a bad thought! They have kits for my car but it's all going to be custom. The front mount. The plumbing. The mani's for the snails. Most other cars you buy a kit and bolt it all on. Where's the fun in that?

Yours being NON turbo tho Case, a little harder to source turbo kits. You should just buy a nitrus kit! Then look out! :assassin:
