Sounds like a nice plan! Maybe look over the engine and replace any oem parts what may be going bad? Belts, plugs, hoses, etc

its been off the road scince january due to what seemed like bad heads, so those where compleetely overhauled, and then a few other things happened. i had the engine "running" in september again but it the block is compleetely shoot. so basically by the time im finished i will have replaced just about everything.

Check engine mounts while engine is out. My rear one just fell out. There was NO sign that anything was up either. :)
What fuel pump are you running?
Are turbo's stock?
Are you data logging?

There's a start. ;)

As an old Jedi friend of mine once said.....

no im still undecided on the engine block, my cheapest way out is a used engine, but then again its used, i can buy a built block but i wont be able to afford that for a few months, like till june, lol, or i can buy a new oem block but that will take a while to get here for no apparent reason. no matter which way i look at it i wont be doing any work on the car until march at the earliest, it will warm up and there will be a few people around who will be able to help me do a tear down and rebuild in two days or less.
