Hey guys,

I am starting to look into a new digital camera... My camera skills arent much... i think of some awesome places and angles to take the pictures.. but my current camera doesnt capture it how i want it too..

Now i will be honest.. i know NOTHING about cameras... My buddy just got some new (i think cannon.. rebel or something) maybe not the rebel.. but he spent 800$ something on it..

I really only want to spend about 400-450... digital.. bigger lense.. different settings.. any ideas...?

Thanks in advance!

Try the Powershot series by Canon. No bigger/replacable lense though

I just bought my Digital Rebel with a good memory card and lense kit for about a grand, now im friking broke but I love it. I recomend it if you love taking pics and are going to use it alot. But deff. not if you just use it for shooting your car everyonce in awhile or somthing like that.

But like he said - Ive also had a Powershot A70(very old model) for about 3-4 years and I still love it, takes very good pics, Im sure the newer ones are alot better too. They have alot of functions also!

Canon is the best when it coms to Digitial Cameras.

I recommend the Canon Powershot S3 IS (http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelDetailAct&fcategoryid=144&modelid=13077). I've heard very good reviews and it has a lot of basic and advanced options that you can use as you grow. :)

Here's a review from DPreview.com (http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canons3is/)

Good Luck!

ps
I don't work for Canon by the way :)
