So im getting my new MAF tomorrow and i'll finally be able to drive my car after the swap. Right now the car will run w/out the MAF so I tried to take it around the block today and this is what happened..

Push down the clutch and it stays down...
I cant get into or shift into a gear unless the car is off

Theres really only 1 way to install a clutch and put the engine/tranny back together right? WTF is wrong??

I never had to bleed it. Or should I always do it after somthing like this?

^ yeah, i would after a clutch install, perhaps some air got into the lines, always a good idea,

also if the fluid is old, just like brake fluid it starts to suck....so maybe since the fliud is "wet" it may not engage the clutch properly or all the way,

also, check the position on the clutch pedal itself, i dont know the GC bodystyle but i know there is a way to adjust the play of the pedal.
