Let?s get a discussion going about the WRX vs EVO, both have AWD however, what are the pros and cons of each. Subarus have full symmetrical AWD and EVOs have all of there special controllers like there center differential (moves power from front to back) and their Ural differential (moves power side to side, plus I think I miss spelled that). I?m not saying on is better than the other, because if that was the case them both of them would have the same thing. So what are the pros and cons of each?

Crap! How did I miss this thread? :(
I can now say that the 3000GT/Stealth/GTO drivetrain is now very much beefed up. Over the next few years, we'll see how successful it is, compared to the EVO & Suby systems. Exciting times ahead.
I can't comment on the EVO v WRX as I have never owned either.

I'll admit that I love my AWD, the launch is unmatched by any car I have in my driveway. I find it more "jerky" when it comes to shifting though. Like there is too much going on. Then again I have an 18 year old car. Overall handling I still love my Z3. Probably because in it's stock form it still has premium suspension over my Galant VR4 which just has a few tweaks. Around the cornerwise, the AWD is awesome in the ain where I find I have to correct the RWD a bit. In th rain and snow,I know my AWD has my back. But on the hot pavement on a dry dry the AWD seems to lack that oomph that the RWD gives me.
