I did this with a few friends in another forum. We make a Paypal account that the forum admin has access too. Then each member whos willing to get in on it donates $5.00 a month to the pot. Then each month we give a participating member the pot and they can buy whatever they want with it but they have to take pics and so us. A new member gets the pot each month and only members who give can receive. When it gets to the end of the line we start back and member #1 and then #2 and so on. Ususally people who just join want to get in which then makes it confusing so we limited it to the first 20 members who got in. Hey an extra $100.00 comes in handy. I'm down, if anyone else is.

wait....so instead of a drawing you just go down the line by member join date?

First we need to set a limit as to who can participate. Then the first members to fill those slots are in. Anyone else who wants o join will be on a waiting list incase a participating members drops out.

IE:
1: Endless Waltz
2:TheFugitiveMind
3: Highboosted
4: Member 4
5: Member 5

I would get the pot 1st month, then Fugi on the second month, High thrid month, 4th, 5th resepctively and then on month 6 it's back to me. So even if we do a 10 member thing thats $50.00 a month given out. To buy whatever the monthly members wants. Pictures of what you bought would be nice. Like a member on the other forum bought an exhaust and took pics. It's a pretty neat idea.

I dunno, seems to me like having a set order can create problems....maybe I'm not giving people's character enough credit, but I would think a random drawing type thing would work better.....just thinking aloud.

Yeah I see where your coming from and thats why there are regulations. The admin has control of the account and if you put in then you can take out. A random drawing could work but how would you feel if you've been a senior member putting money in and then some random new guy gets it and never shows up again or puts in?

I could maybe rig up some system where your post count boost's your percentage to get drawn if we do a random drawing.

Im all in to help you guys do this, keep the ideas rollin
